Usage
This neutral silicone sealant is designed for weatherproof sealing of glazing, connection, and expansion joints in facades, interior walls, and between frames and walls. Suitable for building and construction applications.
Advantages
- Excellent adhesion to most building materials without primer
- Permanently elastic after curing
- High resistance to UV rays, ageing, and weather conditions
- Easy application with a smooth consistency
- Not paintable; not suitable for use on bitumen or certain plastics (PE, PP, PTFE)
Specifications
- Single-component neutral oxime silicone based on polysiloxanes; colour: bahama beige; cartridge: 310 ml
- Certified to EN 15651-1 (F EXT-INT 25 LM), EN15651-2 (G 25 LM); French VOC emission class A+; ATG & SNJF approved
- Curing rate of approximately 2.5–3 mm/24 h at +23°C/50% RH; density: ~1.21 g/ml; temperature resistance from -50°C to +150°C; elastic recovery >80%; maximum deformation: ±25%
- No MEKO content (MEKO-free); compatible with many construction surfaces including glass, metal alloys, ceramics and treated wood but not natural stone or polycarbonate surfaces
How it works
The sealant is applied directly from the cartridge into clean joints using a standard caulking gun. It vulcanises by reacting with air moisture at room temperature to form an elastic joint that accommodates movement while maintaining strong adhesion.
